First night Star light

Hello hello…or rather good morning, aloha. Right not I am writing you from my room at Hale Akua Garden Farm. It is so beautiful I absolutely love it. This morning due to jet lag, and a rooster from another farm, I’m assuming (unless Hawaii has packs of wild roosters running around) I woke up at 5am and went exploring. My room is in the BEST spot!!! First of all it’s shaped like and octagon, it has a tiny bathroom with a sink the size of my hand, but who cares I get my own sink! The sides of the “cottage” are windows from floor to roof, except for where the closet is. My shower is right outside my room and in the trees, showering there is amazing. The room is right next to the pool, hot tub, sauna and a short walk to the kitchen. The view from the hot tub is the breathtaking. The hot tub deck is where I sat watching the most beautiful sun rise this morning; I might even call it epic.

Last night I got here at like 7:20 and then it was a 30min or so drive to the farm. It was so dark all I could see was the little town, which was super cute. Then when we got to the farm Wendy showed me around. She talked about a lot, but the only things I remember are about the abundance of frogs (which there are, I almost already killed like 5) and all the yummy bugs I will encounter :) blehh. She also told me about the meth heads, killer centipedes, and how I can get staff if I get cut and go in the ocean….sweet. Then I got to meet my fellow WWOOFers. There is Wes, Steve, Christian, Isis, and Bettina. Wes is from California, Steve is from Wisconsin, Bettina is from Germany and Isis and Christian are from Brazil. Actually Christian isn’t a WWOOFer he is Isis’s brother. Later that night we went in the hot tub, which by the way is huge. And I was seriously taken aback by the amount of stars out here. I knew it would be good, especially since we are in a secluded spot but seriously it’s amazing. Its one of those things you have to see to understand. You can even see the Milky Way …YEAHHHHH. So far I can tell I am going to love my stay here!
